Come and join us in this introductory and experiential practice that explores the use of water, plants, incense, and prayer as a way to spiritually bath and care for ourselves in our daily lives. Open to everyone, of all faiths and individual belief systems, we will take time to deepen our understanding of plants as allies, the natural world and the concepts of illness as taught to Dr. Rosita Arvigo, apprentice to Don Elijio Panti – the great Maya H’men. We will have the opportunity to experience our own daily spiritual bath with time to contemplate and process in a supportive environment. We complete the week with participation in an ancient, sacred Maya Primicia ceremony, as given to Dr. Rosita Arvigo by her teacher.


We’ll explore ancient Spiritual healing techniques, such as:

  • How to alleviate common ailments which may manifest physically, emotionally, and/or spiritually

  • About the cause and symptoms of Common Spiritual Disorders knowin in Central America as:

    • Susto (fright), Pesar (grief), Oho Caliente (hot eye), Mal Oho (evil eye), Coraje (anger), Invidia (envy), Tristessa (sadness), and more

  • Ancient prayers from Don Elijio Panti, a famous Maya h'men (doctor/priest)

  • How to perform your own Spiritual Bath as well as doing them for others

  • Grounding Exercises

  • How to cleanse the energy of your house and property

  • How to make protection amulets

  • You'll experience guided imagery meditation

  • Do daily Spiritual Bathing

  • A brief introduction into the mystery and wonder of Maya Cosmology

COVID:          

Covid 19 Guideslines as given by the State of MI and the CDC will be reviewed as we approach the starting date for this in-person class. We will be requiring masks for indoor presentations for all people if any students attending have not received the vaccine. We are exploring ways to offer as safe an environment as possible for learning.

$700 USD ($150 deposit required to register. Payment in full is due by July 9, 2021.)
